Dr Tim Jaeger

My name is Dr Tim Jaeger. I am excited to be part of the passion and purpose of the Total Health Chiropractic Wellness Clinic.
Having grown up in the rugged beauty of northern Canada and being surrounded by nature, a natural and healthy lifestyle philosophy came easily to me. Being influenced by my grandparents, who both lived to be 99 years young, I pursued my dream and became a Doctor of Chiropractic, graduating from the prestigious Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1998.
In my pursuit of excellence and my intense focus to be the best doctor I can be for my patients, I went on to become a Certified Kennedy Spinal Decompression Therapist and also completed my advanced nutrition designations as a Registered Orthomolecular Health Practitioner (ROHP) and Registered Nutritional Consultant Practitioner (RNCP). I am a member of the Chiropractic Association of Ireland (CAI) and the International Organization of Nutritional Consultants (IONC).
Dr Meckelborg and I are enthusiastic to introduce you to the Total Health Spinal System™, a comprehensive approach to optimal spinal health.
My wife and I enjoy outdoor activities like mountain biking, camping and hiking, as well as travelling. I love learning, reading, and researching. One of my favorite quotes is by Alvin Toffler, “The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn.”
Our Chiropractic Philosophy
Our philosophy is simple. Everything we do in our practice is based on four core principles:
- You are a self-healing organism. Your body is designed to heal itself. Just think about when a scrape starts to heal or a bruise fades. Your body is in a constant state of change and repair, and in order to do this, it follows a very exact programme.
- Your nervous system is the mechanism that runs this program. It’s like a computerized central command centre that runs YOU. As long as your nervous system is able to communicate effectively with every organ, tissue, cell, nook and cranny of your body, you should experience optimal health—the best health of your life. This is called ‘normal.’
- If, however, something interferes with the function of your nervous system, and it is not able to do its job, your body will no longer be able to do what it is programmed and designed to do. It will become confused and start doing ‘abnormal’ things.
- My job as a chiropractor is to restore optimal function in this system! The earlier, the better, but it’s never too late!
